The charming
Piazza dell’Orologio

Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the historical old town, is also known as Piazza dell’Orologio – Clock Square – because of its medieval “house of the clock”, which was once the seat of the University. Before the current clock, a simple sundial stood in its place. Interesting fact: the clock is still wound by hand by the owner of the house.
